The Bedford Short in Aged Black is cut from a 100% cotton Bedford woven cord with a heavy stone wash. The construction features set-in panels at the hand pockets, reinforced panels at the front knee, and back darting with patch pockets. Nickel shank buttons, zip fly, and a long capri-style inseam.

Bedford cord is not corduroy, it is a woven fabric - the ribs come from how the yarns interlace, not from a cut surface. This makes Bedford cord harder, flatter, and more durable than corduroy. It is named after the town of New Bedford, Massachusetts, a famous 19th century textile manufacturing city.
